We are still plugging away at our current Beyond Five in a Row study, The Story of George Washington Carver. We are just finishing up our study on photosynthesis. We learned how plants get their food and below are a few experiments we tried.



The good old celery in food color experiment.



We also used white flowers. We tried both the celery and the flowers to make it more fun. By the end of 3 days, these flowers had started to take on the color in which they were placed.

This was a really fun and educational experiment, and my kids now understand better how plants get their food.
