We started our trip around the world with Phileas Fogg and Passeparpout with chapters 1 and 2. I found this
great link on Youtube in which the story is being read while the text is printed on the screen. It is great! We just listen and follow along. There are some wide-ranging vocabulary words so we discuss those first. After we listen to the chapters, we do the discussion questions and then start the chapter lessons. So far, we have done a few map lessons for the British Isles and learned a bit about the history of how the British Isles came to be. The next topic of study will be thermometers.
