Homeschool meme

Kendra from The Pumpkin Patch tagged me to participate in this year's homeschool meme.  What a surprise!  Someone wants to hear what I think.  I actually did not know about this until a few days ago when I was reading her blog and saw my blog mentioned as a tag.  So here is my late response. 

1. One homeschool book you've enjoyed?

There are so many but if I have to pick one, I would say A Charlotte Mason Companion by Karen Andreola.

2. One Resource You Wouldn't Be Without?


Five In A Row!  This has been the foundation of my kid's education since almost the beginning.  I could not have made it through without Five In A Row.  I learned a great way to teach my kids in a way that is hands on fun with great retention of knowledge.



3. One Resources You Wish You'd Never Bought?

I would have to say Learning Literature Through Language Arts.  It was just too easy for my kids. 


4. One Resources You Enjoyed Last Year?

One resource we enjoyed last year.............this is a hard one because we enjoyed most everything we used last year.  Okay, pick one.  I would have to say the Evan-Moor Ancient history pockets.  We spent a lot of time on the ancients and these pockets came in really handy.

5. One Resources You Will Be Using Next Year?

Next year, we will be using Latina Christiana II.

We will complete Latina Christiana I this year so I would like to continue with part 2 for next year.

6. One Resource You Would Like To Buy?


I think I would have to say Foundations in Personal Finance High School Edition Homeschool Pack.  

I want to make sure my kids do not make the same mistakes that my husband and I made, and this looks like a great resource to teach.


7. One Resource You Wish Existed?


WOW!  Another hard question.  There are so many resources available to homeschoolers today, I honestly cannot think of one right now.

8. One Homeschool Catalog You Enjoy Reading?

I get so many but I usually put most of them in the recycling bin without looking at them.  I do like to look at the Timberdoodle catalog.  They have a lot of neat things.

9. One Homeschooling Website you Use Regularly?

I am a regular on the Five In A Row forums and I have 3 blogs that I visit often.  Which are Pumpkin Patch, Blog, She Wrote, and Jimmie's Collage.
