Walker Stalker Con Atlanta 2014

So what was it like?  A few people asked me that question.  The answer is simple, it was like amazing!!!  So much fun!  When arrived early enough but we still had to wait in a hideously long line to get in the convention center.  While we stood outside waiting with all the other "Walker Stalkers" to get in, there were two guys in a zombie collector truck driving around and around.  It was completely decked out as a zombie round up truck.  There was even a few zombies in the back which was a giant cage.  People were running out of line to get their selfies with the zombies and the zombie truck.

Finally, we made it inside.  And, yes, there were zombies everywhere inside the convention center. They walked around moaning and groaning, pretending to attack people, and getting their selfies with the fans.  I am adding pictures that are from many different sources including my own.

Zombies trying to intimidate a fan.

Zombie attacking a fan dressed like the governor.

These three pulled out all the stops.  They were dead on with their costumes.
Some of the younger actors on The Walking Dead.
C15 is in a teen book club with one of these nice young ladies.
She stopped what she was doing to visit with us as soon as she saw C15.
Sweet girl and fellow homeschooler from our county.
More intense fans dressed as zombies.
Mr. Chad Coleman (Tyreese on the show).  We got a chance to meet Mr. Coleman and get an autograph.  He was very pleasant and engaging.  He might look big and tough but I get the impression after seeing him, that is not who he really is.  Baby Judith came over to visit with him while we were seeing him and she went right to him, and he gave her a big kiss on the face.  Sweet!
Steven Yeun (Glenn on the show). Another super nice guy.  They got two autographs from him.  He was also very engaging and friendly.  I remembered something he said about grapes from an interview he did and joked with him about it, and he said oh my god did you see that interview and laughed.
This guy! HA!  He dressed the part of Rick to a T!  This is him waiting for the panel with Rick and Daryl to start.  He actually was walking around the vendor hall and A13 and I both freaked out because he was walking right towards us and for a minute, we both thought it was the real Rick.  Then we both just laughed.
Daryl taking selfies.
Daryl being cool!
Random vendors.
This lady may have gotten a little carried away buying these huge
cardboard cut outs but I guess she really thought she would need those some day.
The closin' down the convention shot of the gang at the end of the day.
That was about six hours of zombiefied fun.  They already want to go back next year.
