Here is the experiment for the Out With the Mold or Maybe Not blog post I recently posted. Time to grow some blue mold. All you need is a piece of fruit, a little dust, a baggie, a box, and a dark place. As below, we used an orange. Just cut a section (or you can just use a whole orange), with a cotton swab collect some dust on the tip, rub the dust all over the outside of the orange peel, put it in a baggie, and store in a dark place and check frequently. Document the changes on your lab sheet. Never open the bag!
