Spring, I love it!

It takes me forever to blog the fun stuff we do in my co-op classes (pre-k and K-2) but this such a cute idea, I had to share it now before I forget.  My K-2 class is going to be starting a bird unit study so to start them off, these fun and yummy bird, nest, and eggs activity.

Jellybeans and gum for the eggs, peeps for the birds,
and edible candy grass for the nest.  The grass is edible, however,
it is not delicious.  It tastes like Band-Aids.

Form the edible grass into a nest and add the jellybeans or gum eggs.

Add a peep and done.
Spring in a cup.
