is a no no brainer when it is outlined by the courts. That way, everyone understands which days and which times the visitation is supposed to be.
If you are supposed to pick you kids up, for example, on Saturday at 7 a.m. and have them back by 7 p.m. or if it is Tuesday at 3 p.m. and back by 8 p.m., that is what is supposed to happen. Kids under 11 just have to go along with it, they don't have any say so in the matter, however, kids 11 and up have a say.
They can say whether they go or don't go and when they go and when they come back. NO ONE else has the authority to change the times, not even the custodial parent. So if your noncustodial parent visitation is not working out, don't blame the custodial parent for that since it has 0% to do with the custodial parent. The kids are the only ones with the power to decide. If you feel otherwise, you should go back to court and bring it up to a judge.
