Password protected blog

I have been thinking about changing my blog to password protected which I really hate to do because I have so many readers all around the world.  The reason for this is simply, there are certain people that I do not feel need to be obsessing over my blog posts.  I have been researching how to do this, and it seems easy enough to do but then I stumbled upon Blogs by Heather and she explains how to just password protect certain pages in your blog while the rest can stay public.  Here is the link.  I may go this route and see what happens.

Poppy Dog also has an easy guide to password protecting your blog.
Edublogs has information as well.

If I knew it was this easy, I would have done this a long time ago.  I DO NOT want to lose my readers, and this might be a good solution.

  1. What about a new google account & blog? ;) You know with a non-known name? ;)

  3. The reasons I listed in this blogpost are also the reason I had to start moderating comments. I cannot just have people randomly going off about stuff because I do not want to hear it. They still send nasty comments though.
