Horn-Toot, Toot!

It is hard not to brag about your kids when they are awesome so here goes another brag for awesome A12. She has been taking gymnastics lessons for a few months now.  She really likes and it is perfect for her because she does not stop moving, ever!  She does backflips down the small hill in the front yard, she walks on her hands about half the time she is home (including outside), she has rigged up her own balance beam in the front yard, and she uses our very old swingset in the backyard to swing around on and do pull-ups.

She started off gymnastics at the beginner level because that is what she was but her coach started talking to me privately about two weeks ago.  He felt like she was holding back because the other girls in the class (including her friends) were not at the same level as she was so he suggested her trying the advanced competition team to see if he was right and if she would like it.  Needless to say, she loved it!!!  It is a much better fit for her.  You can only join this group by invitation.  Toot-Toot!!!  I am so proud of her for trying something new and really taking it seriously.  I am also happy that I am able to watch her grow and learn new things.  Her excitement fills me with happiness and makes me happy too.  The best thing about being a parent is being with your kids and doing what ever it takes to help them be happy and help them evolve into the amazing people are were meant to be.  Being a parent-Best job ever!!!!!  Great job A12!
