We have just started our Beyond Five in a Row study on George Washington Carver. What a great man this was. His story is both sad and triumphant. We will be learning about his life and his amazing accomplishments during one of the saddest times in American history, the Civil War.
Some of the topics we will cover include botany, the civil war, slavery, the underground railroad, and segregation.
