Curriculum for 2013-2014

I have finally decided what the year is going to look like.  There are so many awesome materials available for homeschoolers, it can be a daunting task to narrow it down.

For C14: 9th grade 

*high school science=Apologia marine biology. We are going to give the CD a try instead of the book this year.  We are also going to get the dissection kit (oh joy!) 

*

math-Algebra 1 math-u-see 

*high school writing course= One year adventure novel. 

For both:  BJU Press Cultural Geography 

Latina Christiana II. Latin

For A12: 7th grade

 

*science  Apologia general science

*math-Zeta  math-u-see and depending on how it goes possibly starting pre-algebra

*middle school writing course-Cover Story

They will also be participating in enrichment classes all day on Mondays, music lessons, volunteering, and pet sitting.  This should be more than enough to keep us busy and meets all of the "standards" that we need to meet.  Of course, we will use the curriculum in a way that suits our needs not how they are laid out.
