So proud!

My kids never cease to amaze me.  I am not sure why, I know how awesome they are but when I see that awesomeness in action, I feel so proud and happy.

Our allergies are starting to get stirred up so after school today, we ran out to get nose spray, tissues, and allergy meds for day and night.  We came across this really skinny older gentleman who held a sign which read sick and homeless.  A12 quickly remarked, "What are we going to do about that?"  I think I almost cried seeing how compassionate she was when she saw him.  Then C14 chimed in with "Let's buy him lunch."  We literally do not have a penny to spare but I thought about how much help we have had and how, even after everything that has happened to us, we are still really lucky.  We scraped together $5 and bought him lunch.

As a mother, this is what you want to see and hear from your children.  I think my children are going to be fine adults when they grow up.
