Percy Jackson; The Sea of Monsters

We tend to have addictive-type personalities when it comes to books and movies, especially the series, and especially C14.  She gets really caught up in her books and movies and fandoms and chat rooms, etc....

Today we headed out to see the new Percy Jackson movie, Sea of Monsters.  I think it would be better to have either read the first book or seen the first movie before going to see the second part.

I was really surprised with how action-packed this movie was.  We just finished re-watching the first part, Lightening Thief, last night to refresh our memories of the characters and storyline.  I am glad we did.  There is a little violence but not more than you would find in any other PG movie.  There was nothing bloody or gory, just a lot of fighting.  The movie kept a pretty fast pace pretty much the entire movie.  I was also presently surprised by the lack of anything smexy or suggestive.  I think this movie is really good and entertaining.  I would definitely recommend seeing it.
