A giant snow cupcake for me. |
Here are a few pictures. I guess most of these photos need no explanation but I will probably explain them anyway because that is just what I do!
A snow covered bush. |
Cardinals waiting for their food. |
Snow! |
Our front yard. |
Our backyard. |
The woods across the street. |
The side of our house. |
I, of course, had to make a lesson out of this so we measured the snow in inches and centimeters. I know this is riveting stuff! |
Now for the fun shots of the kiddos playing in the snow. There will be a lot of them because their dad is off working at the fire station and had to miss all of the fun. Sorry daddy but thanks for working and helping others. Their aunt is also here from Alaska but she could not make it over "because of the roads." My oldest daughter reminded her that SHE LIVES IN ALASKA and compared to that snow, this snow is nothing to drive in. Maybe she can brave the storm and come over tomorrow and play. Maybe their other aunt can come too.
The first time sledding down the hill. |
Going back to try again. |
I am having fun but I am SOOOOO cold! |
Taking cover under the sleds. |
A belly ride. |
A snow tail. |
Wait for me! |
Ooops! |
Look how fast I am going. |
This is what happens when you go that fast. |
Wipe out! |
"I will go if you go." |
Yee-haw! |
Supergirl wiped out! |
Why did I listen to her? |
Being silly! We are heading back out now and then we are going to have a big cup of hot chocolate and sit by the fire. |
