Helen Keller literary unit.

We have shifted gears from ancient civilizations to a biography on Helen Keller.  We are using Beyond Five in a Row volume 2 for this unit.

A book about what it is like to be blind and braille for the sighted.

This is neat because you learn the braille alphabet and solve a few puzzles.

This book is really cool. 

It is written in braille .  You can run your hand across the braille page and read it in print on the other page.
