Supergirl is officially 18......
I blinked and both my kids grew up.
We have been celebrating A18's birthday
since Saturday with our awesome friends and family.
Today we are doing our traditional
mall run and dinner out, then cupcakes for
all the neighborhood punks, and another lunch
with friends followed by the grand finale
of seeing Jesse Rutherford in concert on Saturday.
A full week celebration of A18.

Colluding with the Russians, well, not exactly......
It is so much fun helping out new homeschoolers. Our neighbors, who have only been in the US for a few years are about to start their first year of homeschooling with their 5-year-old daughter, who only speaks Russian, by the way.
She is such a sweet kid. Most of the time, she has no idea what we are talking about but she LOVES being around the girls no matter what language they are speaking or what they are saying. She laughs nonstop.
It has been my pleasure helping her mom get a plan in place so they can experience school in a positive and fun manner. It is hard to believe this is my last year of being a homeschooling mom but I have loved every minute of it. I think that children thrive and do better when at least one parent, especially their mother, takes a real interest and genuine care for their children. They are only kids once and for such a short amount of time so being their for the kids takes priority over everything else in my opinion. It just makes sense. I cannot understand how anyone could think otherwise.
I love being a veteran homeschooling mom and mentoring the newbies. Looking forward to helping out my fellow homeschoolers and graduating my last homeschooling brainiac and so very proud of my straight A student for her first full year of college. Life is great!

Awesome........
Just wanted to share this awesome handmade gift that one of our hands on single dads made for my girls for helping out with their pets and little ones. He is a CNC programmer and created two rings for each of the girls. Stainless steel and specially engraved with Twenty One Pilots; one of their favorite bands. My pictures do not do these rings justice. What a thoughtful gift to customize something for them that literally no one else on earth has. He is awesome!

We have a super busy week...........
The girls are so fortunate, even though they have had to overcome so much thanks to their other parent but they are still extremely lucky for the lives they are living now.
Who would have thunk it? Meeting celebs, working on movie and tv sets, hanging out at radio stations with bands and singers, going to concerts, chilling with friends, and hoping for a trip to Cali in the summer.
This is the best time for them. I never got to do anything like these two are doing.

Tuesday. they are attending another limited addition Premiere of the Love, Simon movie (they both worked on this film), and this time the cast will be there.
Wednesday, they are getting a private showing and meet and greet with 5 Seconds of Summer! And oh my gosh, I might faint myself.
Friday, off with friends.
And Saturday, a vegan dinner hosted by our good-looking 20 something neighbors who we love dearly! These three guys the real deal.
